We are stoked about Adrian Duke's augmented reality work in Canada!
February 16, 2017

Well done to Adian Duke and Wikiupedia on your App! We know what an incredible effort it is to get to this stage!
Thanks to everyone who sent us this media article yesterday and overnight, or called us. We were amazed at how many people thought to share this news with us. Thank you all so much. We are super excited there is another First Nations person doing this work. Ecstatic! What is means is that it is a great idea!
Being in the AR market place as the sole public voice sometimes detracts from the idea, makes investors nervous and makes you look a little crazy (that's ok - we don't mind crazy!). Now we have a reference point in the media, which is awesome.
It's also great to read about Adrian's business model, which is vastly different to ours. This is great too! We have always encouraged Indigenous Peoples' to see this as a meaningful entry to the digital economy in which ever way they determine. There are no right or wrong ways - this is self determination in action.
Although it's difficult to tell from a media article what the business model is overseas, we can let you know both companies work is awesome, but is not the same. It is because of this we have reached out to Adrian Duke in Canada to share ideas, and are excitedly waiting for his connection!
We can just tell 2017 is going to be awesome for Indigenous AR.
