Last week, our team swapped our screens for the crisp air and ancient landscapes of Gundungurra and Dharug Country in the Blue Mountains. Most of the year, we work remotely, spread out across different places, so when we do gather, it’s really special.
This Reconciliation Week, we reflect on the theme Bridging Now to Next, and the question: How do we carry the truths of the past into the future we’re building? At Indigital, we believe the answer lies in systems change guided by Country, culture, connection and reciprocity.
This week, we’re proud to share that our Caring for Country lead, Lindsay Davies, a proud Guwamu/Kooma man from Meanjin, now living and working on Kombumerri Country, is on the ground in New York City, attending the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII)
Every 12 weeks, our entire company stops, completely. We close our laptops, turn off the notifications, and step away from work. We call it Indigital Leave, a full ‘paid’ week off, company-wide.
